“Above all, be the heroine of your life, not the victim.”
― Nora Ephron

It started off as a sandbox after my Introduction to Creative Writing course in 2011; now it begins to take focus on things like books, television, observations, writing, or a combination of many of these things. Originally named Stacks and Ranges, the blog underwent a title change to reflect the many topics of over 500 posts after taking that long for the writer to get her writing legs under her.

By day, the writer works at a community college library in Canada. After getting home, having supper, and trying not to get distracted, she’s writing or reading. After all, what’s one without the other?

  1. Hi, Fatima! Chris told us he ran into you the other day and also about your blog so I thought I’d drop by to ‘see’ you! We had a fun writer’s group this afternoon and have scheduled the next one for October 28. Hope you can keep the date open so you can join us. It will be great getting to know each other again, It’s been far too long. 🙂
